The AC 162 series is a supplement to the AC 166® connector system for electrical installations in the low-voltage range up to 48 V, mainly for the connection of halogen lamps. During the development of the series special emphasis was placed on safety at loads up to 25 A. Only silver plated contacts and double wire insulation are used.
